Tower Hamlets Council's Plans To Force Building Owners To Remove Dangerous Cladding

As reported by Inside Housing on 19/02/19, Tower Hamlets Council are set to use newly acquired powers to ensure that dangerous cladding is removed from private blocks within their borough. An enforcement notice, due to be served to owners of Victoria Wharf in Bethnal Green in the coming weeks, may pave the way for other local authorities to take similar action under new powers recently granted to councils by the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government James Brokenshire MP,
