As part of our ongoing 'Life In The Towers' series, this citizen journalism project delves into the aftermath of a tragic fire that occured in March 2023 which claimed the life of 41 year old Mizanur Rahman in an overcrowded property in Tower Hamlets.

The story explores the repercussions of landlord greed and over-occupation, shedding light on the broader systemtic housing issues in London. Presented by the residents themselves, this narrative is shared by the community who seek to make their voices heard in the wake of this devastating event.
